Manny Pacquiao is da man! he single handedly represents all the Filipinos around the world.

I chose to post the Filipino/english version. I find it intensifies the fight! ha!
KG & the celtics are Pac-Man fans.

Round 2 at the del mar fair with me, april, alvin, gelen, rae, ro, and kimtan juji. with only 1 week left of the del mar fair, we gotta take advantage of our unlimited passes. this time we even rode the “Tango” ride! this time it was full of corn, deep fried white castle, garlic fries, cinnamon rolls, sparklets water, gold fish, and kool-aid dipped pickles. we even almost got our heads bashed by a cell phone that launched out of someones pocket on a ride. always good times at the fair.
On Saturday went up to Santa Monica Promenade with april, rae and rolando for some fun in the sun. The whole setup of the mall is really dope and the street performers makes it even better. It was still hot up in LA LA Land.

April works 6 days a week so the time spent on weekends arent filled with small road trips. but this weekend she got off and we went to south of downtown and over the coronado bridge to enjoy the beautiful weather in coronado. it may have been 100+ degrees inland but in coronado it was so perfect with the pacific breeze. What a wonderful start to the weekend.

yeah i know its not called the del mar fair anymore but i still call it that. went out with a few friends to break in our unlimited admission tickets. this is only going to be round one. had a bunch of greasy greasy super deep fried food. on the menu: deep fried twinkies (yum), deep fried white castles sliders (yum & greasy), deep fried frog legs (didnt try), deep fried spam (didnt try), corn (super delicious), orange julius (a classic drink), garlic fries (awesome), and funnel cake (always bomb). the rides seemed tempting but super expensive. i believe wed and thurs from 11am-8pm unlimited ride tickets are $30. so til next time…

FYI: i edited all these photos with some pretty cool filters (filters resembling kodak royal gold film, polaroids, etc. )

lunch time special for me and kj by the one and only kimtan juji.

spend monday morning down in otay to watch kung fu panda with april’s step brother and visit the new (sucky) otay mall. we then spent literally countless hours trying to find a fucking thai food spot open. went through northpark, hillcrest, del mar, sorrento, rb, and ended up eating at souplantation.

jenny’s (donut mafia) sister is opening up a deli next to alvaros in sabre springs.

My sisters are off to our of the country for the summer so they both decided to throw a BBQ with all their friends back home. My mom and sisters spent the whole week in preparation which included, buying tons of meet, snacks and a whole bunch of beer. when i say a whole bunch of beer, i mean it. cleaned out six 30-packs of beer, picked up 2 more 30-packs midway through the party and also cleaned it out. I didnt expect it to be that big but it was and therefore i had to stay home and watch over the house since the parental units were at a wedding. it turned out to be a success and fun time.
it was a night of 4 generations of kids. class of 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2007. it was pretty crazy see brothers and sisters of homies all in one house.
